What's new

Release notes for the platform and the DevOps portal, newest first. The list of changed pages follows below.

19 October 2026 — DevOps portal guide

The DevOps portal section now covers the portal properly:

  • Overview: signing in, what each team role can do, how a change goes from preview to approvals, merge request and applied, and the Changes page. Its new Finished in filter shows changes finished in the last 7 days by default (30 or 90 days, a year or all time on request); open changes are always listed.
  • Applications: deploying an image from Harbor or another allowed registry, size, env vars, secrets from a connected vault (key names are now suggested from OpenBao with your own access), routes through the web firewall, sign-in at the gateway, and Follow new tags with advice on semver ranges.
  • Hostnames and domains: namespace hostnames, the shared tenant domains and how deep each one goes, Any name wildcards, and automatic DNS and certificates.
  • Virtual machines: requesting a VM, and connecting: ssh ops@<vm> with SSH keys added at request time or with Change SSH keys, or remote desktop for Windows. SSH certificates from step-ca are gone.
  • Monitoring: the Grafana dashboards linked from each resource.
  • Web firewall: the sites list, switching between detect and block, and requesting exceptions.

Secrets and Databases link to the new pages where they meet them.
