VPN — Setup

1. Install the client

brew install netbirdio/tap/netbird-ui

Or download the installer from https://app.netbird.io/install.

Download and run the Windows installer from https://app.netbird.io/install.

curl -fsSL https://pkgs.netbird.io/install.sh | sh

2. Point it at the Pub Invest server

The Pub Invest management URL is https://netbird.pubinvest.co.uk.

In the NetBird tray icon: Settings → Advanced Settings → Management URL, enter the URL above and save. From the command line:

netbird up --management-url https://netbird.pubinvest.co.uk

3. Sign in

Click Connect. A browser opens at the Pub Invest sign-in page — sign in with your account and MFA as usual (Sign-in). The tray icon turns green when connected.

4. Check it works

netbird status

Should show Management: Connected and Signal: Connected. Then open Headlamp — if it loads, you're done.
